Understanding Your Analysis

How Regimens rates interactions, evidence quality, and risk levels.

01.

Severity ratings

Regimens uses three different severity scales depending on the kind of finding. They are not interchangeable — each describes a different category of risk or benefit, and the vocabulary differs because the underlying findings differ.

Interaction severity

Applied to interactions between two compounds in your stack.

DANGERClinically dangerous interaction; medical attention may be required.
CAUTIONMeaningful interaction requiring user awareness.
MINORDocumented but low-clinical-impact interaction.
SYNERGISTICDocumented beneficial interaction.
NEUTRALNo documented interaction in peer-reviewed sources.

Warning urgency

Applied to per-compound warnings, not interactions between compounds.

HIGHUrgent attention recommended.
MEDIUMMeaningful warning to factor into your regimen.
LOWMinor advisory worth knowing.

Top concern level

Applied to the synthesis surface that ranks the most important findings across your full analysis. Because it draws from both interaction findings and per-compound warnings, it uses a unified six-level scale.

DANGERClinical risk (drawn from interaction severity).
HIGHUrgent per-compound warning.
CAUTIONMeaningful interaction risk.
MEDIUMMeaningful per-compound warning.
MINORLow-impact interaction.
LOWMinor per-compound advisory.

See these ratings applied in a full Sample Report.

02.

Evidence ratings

Every finding in your Regimens report carries an evidence tier label honestly indicating the strength of evidence behind it. The tier is not a citation to a specific paper — Regimens AI generates its analyses from a curated source corpus rather than runtime document lookup, and the tier signal is the load-bearing source-fidelity output. See How we read the sources for the full mechanism.

The nine tiers, in order of evidence strength:

Tier 1Peer-reviewed pharmacology and clinical research

Original RCTs, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews from peer-reviewed journals. The strongest evidence base for clinical claims.

Tier 1.5Clinical practice consensus

Clinical practice literature and specialist consensus where rigorous practice-based knowledge precedes or substitutes for formal RCT evidence — peptide protocol literature, specialty-society practice guidelines, specialized clinical pharmacology consensus.

Tier 2Global scientific consensus bodies

Synthesis bodies that aggregate Tier 1 research into globally-coordinated positions (WHO, Codex Alimentarius, NIH Office of Dietary Supplements).

Tier 3Specialized pharmacology references

Domain-specific reference works including drug-interaction texts (Stockley's), specialty clinical guidelines (Endocrine Society), and lactation pharmacology (NLM LactMed).

Tier 4Integrative medicine evidence synthesis

Bodies that aggregate peer-reviewed evidence on integrative and complementary modalities, evaluating them with conventional evidentiary standards (NCCIH, ESCOP, AHP).

Tier 5Traditional medicine literature

Traditional pharmacopoeias preserving documented evidence in a different epistemic register (PPRC, KHP, AYUSH formularies). Distinct from RCT-grade modern research and from integrative-medicine synthesis.

Tier 6National regulators (legal context)

National regulators (FDA, EMA, MHRA, etc.). Legal context for what is approved or contraindicated in a jurisdiction — not scientific authority for the underlying claim.

Tier 0Preliminary — in vitro / animal

Preliminary findings from in vitro studies or animal-only data. Pre-clinical evidence not yet validated in humans — flagged explicitly when relied upon.

No tierInsufficient peer-reviewed evidence

No peer-reviewed evidence base for this claim. Statements at this tier are hedged and defer to a healthcare provider.

03.

Allergen Alert Types

Regimens classifies allergen and sensitivity alerts into three types based on immune response mechanism.

IgE AllergyImmediate immune response (minutes to 2 hours). Can include anaphylaxis. High priority — flag any entry containing this allergen.IgG SensitivityDelayed inflammatory response (24–72 hours). Associated with bloating, fatigue, brain fog. Medium priority.Chemical SensitivitySensitivity to additives, fillers, or excipients commonly found in supplements and medications.
04.

Wellness Correlations

When you log daily wellness check-ins across all six categories (Energy & mitochondrial, Gut & digestion, Sleep & recovery, Mood & relaxation, Cognition & focus, Hepatic & detoxification), Regimens correlates your scores against your regimen entries to surface patterns over time. This section appears in your full Regimen Analysis after you’ve logged at least seven days. For how to log wellness check-ins, see How to Use Regimens.

Supportive

Magnesium Glycinate → Sleep +0.8

Sleep scores averaged 4.2 on days magnesium was logged vs 3.4 on days it was skipped. Consistent pattern over 14 days.

Optimization

Evening Coffee → Sleep −1.2

Sleep scores dropped to 2.6 on evenings coffee was logged. Consider moving coffee to your Morning Stack.

Provisional

Vitamin D3 → Energy +0.3

Slight positive trend in energy on days Vitamin D3 was taken, but not yet statistically significant. Keep logging.

Correlations require at least seven days of wellness data and are not medical diagnoses — they surface patterns worth discussing with your care team.

About Regimens AI

Regimens AI analyzes your full regimen as a system. Each analysis cross-references your entries against peer-reviewed clinical pharmacology research, FDA safety databases, drug interaction databases, and published meta-analyses.

The AI evaluates interactions, absorption conflicts, timing optimization, nutrient depletions, cycling protocols, and allergen risks across every entry in your selected stack. Results include severity ratings, evidence quality indicators, and actionable recommendations.

One-time entries logged via Quick Add are included in that day’s analysis — useful for identifying how atypical meals, travel foods, or occasional substances affect your system.

Category Color Guide

Each entry in your regimen is marked with a two-letter category badge for quick visual identification across your dashboard, analysis, and exported reports.
