How to Use Regimens

A guide to building and analyzing your health system — every stack, every entry, every interaction.

I.

Start by adding everything you take

Regimens works best when your stack is complete. Add prescriptions, supplements, herbs, recreational compounds, meals, and anything else you consume regularly. The more complete your entries, the more powerful your analysis.

+ Addadd entries one at a time. Select a category, search for the entry, and assign it to a time block (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Weekly, Monthly, or As-Needed).
Import from Photoscan supplement or medication labels to extract entries automatically.
Time blocksassign each entry to the right time block. The assignment drives your timing analysis and stack-level insights.
Meals stackfood and drink entries go here. Grapefruit, coffee, alcohol, and specific ingredients all affect your analysis.
My Intake Loguse your intake log daily to track what you actually took. Your daily record and your regimen are separate; update your regimen when your intake changes permanently.
Exact timeslog the exact time you take each entry in your intake log. Regimens uses this for precise timing analysis, flagging when entries are consumed within clinically significant windows of each other.
Quick Addtraveling or had an atypical day? Use Quick Add in your intake log to log one-time entries that feed into your analysis for that day without permanently changing your regimen.
II.

Your regimen vs your daily intake — two different things

Two surfaces, two purposes. Knowing the difference keeps your analysis accurate and your daily tracking honest.

My Regimen

Your master list of everything you consume. Add entries here when you start or stop taking something. This is what gets analyzed.

My Intake Log

Your live daily record of what you actually consumed today. Check entries off as you take them, add anything extra via Quick Add, and run a daily analysis. Resets every day.

Keep your regimen current — if you stop taking something regularly, remove it from My Regimen so your analysis stays accurate.

III.

Two ways to analyze — by stack or by full regimen

Regimens gives you two analysis scopes, each suited to a different question.

Stack Analysis

Analyzes a single time block (Morning Stack, Evening Stack, etc.). Best for understanding what’s happening in one part of your day — absorption conflicts, timing optimization, and same-time interactions.

Regimen Analysis

Analyzes your entire regimen together. Surfaces systemic interactions, cross-stack conflicts, and the full picture of everything you consume. Use this for your care team export.

IV.

Understanding what Regimens surfaces

Your analysis is organized into sections — high-priority alerts, interactions, timing insights, compound profiles, nutrient depletions, lab impact, cycling protocols, and more. Start with Alerts and Interactions, then work through the rest at your own pace. See the full rating system in the Analysis Guide, or see a full worked example in the Sample Report.

V.

Personalize with your Health Profile

Adding your date of birth, biological sex, and menopause status (if applicable) personalizes your daily intake values against NIH Dietary Reference Intakes for your specific demographic. A 48-year-old postmenopausal woman has different iron and calcium requirements than a 25-year-old man — Regimens accounts for this. Set up My Health Profile.

VI.

Screen your full stack for allergens

Regimens screens every entry — including inactive ingredients and excipients — against your allergen and sensitivity profile. For how the three alert types are distinguished, see Allergen Alert Types. Set up your Allergen Profile.

VII.

Export a report for your doctor and healthcare team

After running an analysis, click Export PDF to generate a complete branded report covering all 13 analysis sections, your full entry list, and personalized insights. Most practitioners only know about your prescriptions — this report shows them the full picture.

  1. 1Run your full Regimen Analysis from the My Regimen page.
  2. 2Click Export PDF in the dashboard header.
  3. 3Share the PDF at your next appointment or send via your patient portal.
VIII.

Ask anything about your regimen

The Ask Regimens chat (floating button, bottom right of your dashboard) has full context of your regimen, health profile, and allergens. Ask specific questions like “Should I take magnesium with or without food?” or “Does ashwagandha interact with my Lexapro?”

What interactions should I know about?Am I taking anything at the wrong time? What’s the evidence for my NMN dose?Is my magnesium dose too high for my age?
IX.

Track how you feel — close the loop

Your regimen tells you what might happen. Your wellness check-in tells you what actually did. Log your wellness markers across all six categories — Energy & mitochondrial (energy), Gut & digestion (gut), Sleep & recovery (sleep), Mood & relaxation (mood), Cognition & focus (cognition), and Hepatic & detoxification (liver) — each morning and evening. It takes about 30 seconds. After 7 days of check-ins, Regimens starts surfacing correlations between your stack and how you feel. You’ll see which entries are associated with better sleep, higher energy, or digestive issues — turning your daily intake into a personalized feedback system that gets smarter the more you use it. For how to read the correlation types, see Wellness Correlations. Go to My Intake Log.
